MHUSC PLAYER DEVELOPMENT
MHUSC believes in creating a positive first experience for every young player.
Our U8–U12 Academy provides boys and girls with a positive and dynamic
learning environment focused on long-term development.
Players develop through an age-appropriate approach that balances the
technical, physical, social and psychological areas of the game. The player
remains at the centre of the development process while building the
fundamentals appropriate to their current age and stage.
Our curriculum follows Long Term Player Development principles and the
Ontario Soccer Player Development Model, creating environments where players
develop fundamental skills through training, activities and play.
MHUSC also recognizes the importance of multi-sport participation during the
grassroots years. We work with families throughout the season to help players
balance soccer with other sports and activities while continuing their
technical development.
